All values are number (%) except for age at walking and head circumference, which are mean (SD). Group I, infants with hypoxia-ischaemia as the only recognised cause; group II, infants with an unrecognised cause during the neonatal period; group III, others.
*One case with renal failure due to birth asphyxia.
